Is not a gel top coat

I have not received

It's not a gel,it's hard to work with wanted a refund they sent me the same product..hmm

Excellent coverage and durability! As a teacher, I started out using it for a garage doors in my house to make a family calendar. Now I have used it on furniture in the living room and kitchen.

I haven’t try this latest order yet

I have used your paint before and love it. It’s easy to apply and wears great. My next project is a desk, which I’ll start as soon as I can get outside to sand. I’m also planning to paint bathroom cupboards and countertops as well. Can I put an epoxy on the countertop over the chalk paint?

Only received half my order

I ordered 2 quarts of chalk lint and only received one quart. I emailed customer service regarding this matter and heard nothing back.

Perfect paint

Touch up on a former hutch project I used this paint for, perfect match, bright lovely, touched up beautifully

Color Perfect

Arrived as expected and color was spot on. Easy application and clean up was a breeze. I did not rate 5 stars because I had to order more to finish the project.
I was disappointed to see that one coat was not enough on a white piece of furniture. I have used another brand that covered a mahogany piece the same size in one coat. The other brand did not offer a color similar to the Tuscany I ordered so I thought I’d give this brand a try. Good product but but need twice as much.

Great paint and color

A great white

Hail is a beautiful white. Goes on so smooth and the finish is flawless. To me it has a gray undertone which is perfect for my colors. Delivery was very quick also. Thank you

Jar leaked in shipping. Love the color.

Beautiful color!

This was my first time using chalk paint - I wanted a nice teal color for a chest I had that didn't really match my bedroom color scheme. Since the chest seemed to be made of mdf covered with who knows what, chalk paint seemed to be a good choice. I chose the color "Twilight" as it seemed a good match for my teal bedding. The only prep I did was tape off the edges of the drawers and wash down the chest with plain water. From start to finish, including washing, drying, emptying the drawers, dragging outside, painting two coats, adding two coats of wax, buffing, and moving it back into place it only took four hours! I am really pleased with how easy this paint is to use and with the outcome.

Perfect color to paint a vase for the Fall.

Great color for fall. Delivered on time. The paint was just what I wanted to paint my vase for Fall.

Easy

It is the only chalk pain I will use.

Wonderful Rich Color

Love the paint! Very smooth. Rich color.

Definitely getting more colors

I love this paint. Just a little bit goes a long way. The color is so pretty. I turned this old crappy dresser into something so nice and perfect for my sons room. I can’t wait to find something else to makeover using a different color!

I absolutely love this paint!

I searched high and low for this particular color. I am so happy with this purchase. A little paint goes a long way.

Great Color

Easy to use! Project turned out great!

Easy to apply with great coverage!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this paint went on. The desk was stained a very dark walnut and the paint covered beautifully with only two coats. I ran out of paint and reordered to finish the desk but the weather has not cooperated enough to finish the job. I will use this product again on another project.

Beautiful color, creamy formula, easy to spread

I'm a very long-time user of Annie Sloan's chalk paint line. I have to make a 45-minute trip (one way) to get the AS paint from one of her suppliers. Nope, not anymore since I found the Chalky Chicks paint. Wow, what a relief. I took a gamble and ordered it. I mean, I really love AS chalk paint, and I feared nothing would even come close. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at its performance. The paint was perfectly smooth and creamy and was a really pretty shade of white. Not too bright, and no yellow undertones. I was painting over a black surface and ended up adding several coats, probably because I diluted the paint some in order to make for a smoother application. I did some distressing and it turned out beautiful. The only thing I noticed compared to AS chalk paint was that it was a little harder to distress. I typically use a 220-grit sandpaper for distressing (with AS paint) but had to go to a 150-grit paper. No big deal, just different. I also bought the Chalky Chicks mustard seed Tuscany yellow to paint two antique stained chairs.

Best Chalk Paint

I have to say, I’ve purchased a lot of chalk paint and this product is true to color and is easily applied without having the messy water drips and paint drying up so fast. It does take a little longer to dry but saves you time instead of struggling with the water bottle and other paints. I’m going to slowly replace all the other chalk paint I’ve purchased with this brand. I love it!

Perfect soft creamy white

I wanted a light white shade that wasn’t bright white, old lace is the perfect color ! A soft creamy white that goes on great and blends nicely with other colors in the room while not being stark or bright.

A novice can use chalky chicks paint!

Before, honey oak. After, nice wolf gray chalk paint. I'm a first time cabinet and chalk paint. So I opted to start in my laundry room. Now I have confidence to do my hall and linen cabinets, both honey oak today. I'm going to try hail white chalk paint on them. Easy, fast, and like that you can apply light enough to see wood grain but still have good coverage.
